As a part of livening things up around the site, we are proud to offer you new and
colorful ways to chart your experiences with us! World Icons is a system of Icons
that encourage you to participate in many areas of the site. As you progress, collect
as many planets as you can to move beyond the World of Poetry into the Universe
of Poetry! It's basically a cool visual representation of your activities online.
Everything is color coded, and set up just like the real Solar System. Earning the
Earth is worth far more than earning Neptune, because Neptune is the furthest
planet from Earth. Also, earning GRAY icons will get you started, but earning all the
TEAL icons, gets you planets.
You will have your own Achievements Page that you will be able to share with
members, and other members will be able to share theirs with you. There are also
some cool new icons that are replacing some of our older icons, and some new icons
to liven up the site as well.
For now, these icons are here for you to chart your progress. Later on, we will be
tying our World Icon Program into different site awards, prizes, and incentives,
based upon the number of planets you earn in a year. Have fun! To learn more,
